BAsically, the entire series made xehanort out to be worse then dirt.

Because in this day and age "fine" is all we get pain

Screwing over keyblade wielders, killing innocent lives, manipulating people

And his whole shebang is just "i wqnted to fix the worlds"

And everyone instantly forgives him.
