The image reminds me of a theory a friend and I had that Marluxia's 3rd form on the mech (plays "Lord of the Castle") had a feminine head appearance as if it were some guardian angel or angel of death while he was akin to the grim reaper. Perhaps she was crafted from his dormant/locked away memories of his sister (Strelitzia).

Oof, I dont think they tried to translate what nomura wanted to express with what he was saying into english. So the first part is saying roxas will be available in the same way that aqua and riku are in the base game. The next part is really confusing, there is a section where you can pick characters but it will be seperate to the additional scenes. So im assuming that once you get to the part where you can pick characters there will be a sort of 'multiple ending' scenario where replaying this section with let you experience it through different character's perspectives?

I am just going to ignore it says choose because that never happened in the base game.

or the other possibility is the option to choose characters for certain sections is something you get after completing the game.
