Nomura once said that Ansem is his favourite character (good taste) so I suppose he wanted to give him a special, kinda meta goodbye where it seems directly to the players

what made the scene really emotional for me was "Ok that's it, I will never see you again Ansem. That's the end"

deaths like this are really special in kh nowadays bc we know most of the characters that should be dead will appear in the next game again
