That’s a whole fact

Plenty of fan cover music in the meantime

Shoot they used to get good rep in the ost world. I remember walking into Barnes and nobles as a kid and stumbled upon the 2 or 3 disc deluxe kh ost with all original artwork had no $$$$ though to buy ?

i actually walked into a store the other day and heard Merlin's House theme from Kh1

KH ost as a whole needs to be out there more

Disneyland and Disney World as well

It took way too damn long for proper merch to appear.

Apparently, some novels can be found in B&N.

"didn't see anyone there, it honestly felt like they were trying their hardest to avoid character interaction in 3"

I hate how true this is

:GWvertiPeepoSadMan:

What do you think of them as?

I consider them secondary cast

On par with minnie

Like I said, they are technically cameos, however the importance of them is up up to the person.
They have their place and I see them as mentor like figures, ofc Sora doesn't need mentors so much now, but they've left their effect on him and that can't be ignored.
So I would agree with Quid that they are on the level of Minnie, daisy, Merlin etc. However, Square and Nomura don't feel the same way, clearly

Which is a shame

Since they are technically cameos, it's easy to underplay their importance and shove them aside when needed

It rly do be a shame

lmao, I actually read his name as "Robin Williams" and got really confused for a second

But it does kinda leave a bad taste in my mouth, almost as if those characters were "used" for an end and then completely shoved aside when it wasn't convenient to have them around

It's just bad storytelling

Well, I don't know about that

In a sense it is kinda silly to ignore all your worldbuilding

But it's not like their absence makes the plot worse

? I definitely think it does

Mostly because including them well would require them to interact more with ienzo

It's just lack of character interactions overall

Possibly, but I don't see the inclusion of FF characters being a great fix for that. Sure, it would force some more character interaction, but it's something that should have been more focused on from the ground up. If anything, it would just make the lack of interactions weirder by having the """cameos""" interacting more with the main characters than the actual main characters interacting with themselves

On the other hand, it would definitely have been a nice dynamic to add to the game

Ahh I can see that

I guess what I'm saying is that I'd like those characters to be in a game that had strong writing so that they could enhance it, rather than being thrown into an underwhelming narrative where they do nothing but highlight how dry the game is

I think we can all agree with that stance
