No they discussed a lot more, like sora's memory loss, the goals of the orginisation and what xehanort wanted to accomplish, they discussed sora's character etc.

The connection between Soras choice and Disney is very loose

These were ideas vital to the main plot

In my personal opinion they didn't go far enough. I can't fault the ideas present in KH3, they're all pretty much exactly what I wanted from it. But they were so half baked

Like the characters in 3 act like they did in their original titles but now there possessed sooooooo whats the differencr

Kh1 and 2 were about how important friendship is and that Donald and Goofy always have to support Sora. KH3 was basically the opposite. Donald and Goofy learned that there are things Sora can only do by himself. And Donald and Goofy realized that they are actually important characters that are on the same level as Keyblade wielders

DDD did it better with the nort stuff. They all actually have a motive to what they're doing
