honestly I think its a sign that the Pureblood has kept more of its humanity

because the ones that have a heart hole are more and more Humanoid

Like shadows have no hole, Neoshadows have a black spot developing where the heart should be, Invisibles have a small heart shaped hole, and Darksides have a giant heart shaped hole

I think beings with a strong enough heart become more humanoid heartless
