So.. does Axel/Lea not count for anything?

Axel could get one, for being so close to roxas that his heart had an affect on him

Roxas could be considered the only nobody to have a heart

it would be really special

He likely had a heart on the way to being the most developed

Axel, second (namine, for all intents and purpose,s liekly had a very well developed heart

Saix literal attitude towards roxas and xion and a little bit of axel also paints him as having a heart

These beings, have hearts

In my headcanon no other member besides roxas and namine could grow hearts and Axel could only get one because of his connection to them. Xion was the same way

Hearts that needed to grow

Like because roxas heart had an impact on Axel, he grew one

Because remember how cold Axel was in chain of memories

Then how do you explain Vexen,Larxene, or Demmyx?

They are pretending

What's the use in pretending upon death?

Every word they say is just a fasade they are essentially lying to themselves

"pretend" only goes so far

It's a feeling

And what do you call fear, then?Because that was actual fear, in those three

They all knew what death was, they've all experienced it before

So obviously having knowledge of what it is still allows them to use it as if it were real

A being with no emotion... would't fear death

imean head canon all u want but im pretty sure they had some bits of a heart in official canon

It's not that they have no emotion, it's that they can't feel the emotion

And Yen Sid, DiZ, saying that "they're just pretending" is a load of crap from them

A facade only goes so far here

I mean this is just headcanon for me it's not official, I just like believing that they just know what death is and understand what it means for them

So they can replicate fear to the best of their ability

For their own sake

Honestly.. I think contact with Roxas and Sora allowed them to gain hearts, because Roxas was valued as a member.. so much so, that they feel is betrayal, immensely

Demyx with his "silence, traitor"

and Luxord with his "How could you, Roxas?"

Like I said, I don't think they can't replicate the emotion, they do it for themselves to feel real
