I dont think they need story importance. I feel like too many things in KH suffer because they're always being forced to fit into the story, when really they'd be more interesting as a side thing

I don't see this as a negative. KH3 was pretty light on plot, we can easily have a sub plot for radiant garden like in KH2. 1000 heartless battle had almost zero importance to KH2s plot

Seeing as mickey specifically talks about Leon as someone trustworthy and they've both been working on ansems computer

We must have very important and significant plot threads that last more than 5 minutes Quid, that's why DarkAqua was so important.
