Eh, I disagree. Just because we know what bbs looks like on the psp, doesn't mean it would like that if it had five years of funding and dev time for a ps3 release. I don't think that's a unfair point

In reality, BBS had like four to five months of production for the ps2 and that was converted into recom

they were pretty far along when they made the decision tho, its not like they could just revamp the kh2 engine to looks ps3 material

No they were not

The old engine they used before 0.2 made all the games look more or less the same. There wouldn't be huge differences in the style itself.
