I don't recall any Riku comparisons (though my memory is bad anyway so I'm not sure what that's worth)

so Nomura is very confused

Imagine trying to write a compelling story when you sympathize more with the villain than with the hero

Getting the high score for the achievement took me 12 tries

You really just end up learning where they spawn and be ready for it

One key thing with Verum Rex is that in order to get the achievement score you absolutely CANNOT lose your combo for the entire fight up until the final boss spawns.

You have to keep up the kill chain the whole way to the boss.

Which pretty much means you also can't die or switch gigas.
