I bet without a doubt the realm of darkness was meant to be a bigger deal earlier on in the development

Like Riku would’ve actually explored worlds in the RoD

I was so certain we would cut back to Riku every 2 worlds or so

Like, before the game was out

And then when I saw the title card for the RoD pop up and when we got control of him early on all I could think was how promising that felt

I still can’t believe this game has 8 worlds

Like 8 actual worlds

Honestly like 6 full worlds

Thank god for remind

Because I think I would’ve never played this game again if not for remind

Twilight Town, Graveyard, Final World and Scala all make up like 1 Arendelle it feels like

It’s insulting how small the final world is in the base game

And how uncreative it is in terms of level design

And I mean the “final world” not “the final world”

I mean it literally is just a room in the KBGY... it’s kinda sad in a way that they would keep the world logo in

But I bet they were proud of that one, can’t blame them

Something else that kind of bothers me about base KH3 is how it handles showing off the power of the new hardware

Base KH3 did not do that

Re:mind did by miles, but base KH3 only does so at the beginning of the game

It’s finale lacks what re:mind had

And I think that shows the team we’re a lot less experienced a year before re:mind released

But made a lot of steps to get better

All this makes me wish something like 0.2 came out first

So they could have had a clear grip on the engine prior to making the next big jump during what’s supposed to be a massive undertaking of a game

And they said my sleep schedule was firetrucked

That you're a much stronger man than me for sitting through all of Nerd Odysseys review, I tried watching it the other day but like 7 minutes in I gave up because he was just being so hypocritical and not being reasonable and balanced at all. That's fine, it's his prerogative to be biased, but don't make out as if you're bias is balance
