Saix helped jog Xion’s memory tho and that plays a big hand in firetrucking everything up tbh

I have no idea. But maybe it ties into the whole possibility that it’s Skuld or maybe ava is involved somehow ? but yeah. It’ll interesting to see how they make it tie into the overall plot

If it wasn’t, it would have been brought up or hinted at beforehand. It’s really quite simple.

Cause it never goes to in depth, though in days there was that sort of tension between Saix and Axel, Saix feeling like Axel had abandoned him for new friends

Just like Riku thought Sora abandoned him and kairi for new friends

Retcon would be that Lea and Isa went inside the castle to eat ice cream but changed to them meeting SX

This isn't a retcon, like Icecle said, it's just new details

Saix’s arc wishes it was a tenth as good as Riku’s

Whether you like that detail or not is a different story but it doesn't previously change any other old information

Which is basically KH in a nutshell

There isn't that many retcons, just a lot of details added later that makes a whole mess

I think Saix's arc is a different take on Riku's

Riku is younger and more impulsive, more quick to snap at Sora

While Saix is older and more mature, and sort of just keeps his distance from then on

But in the past, Nomura did a better job at disguising the reality that he was introducing new plot points of nowhere

As crazy as DDD is, there’s an impressive amount of effort into pretending that this was how the story was set up since KH1

I'm not discussing the quality if it's good or not I'm just discussing the term of what it actually is
