:sadsora: I feel like Disney’s been getting more and more open to allowing KH to do what it wants with the disney characters tho.
We went from only allowing mickey in one scene to Mickey ALMOST DYING and having a really cool playable moment in KH3.

Unless it's something like Frozen

But then they went and put silly restrictions on links that didn't exist for summons. And were having frequent QA checks to see if they were getting things right (like the infamous elsa hair)

Hopefully you're right about the most core characters though, like Yen Sid and Maleficent etc

The thing is , just assuming that Nomura wants to slowly get away from using Disney property and focus more on the KH world. Most importantly FF well in his version. Fantasy base on reality. So those characters may or may not be FF characters given that FF characters are in this universe. Or they could be new characters that will be involved in the next game. Not connected to Verum Rex. Remember that VERSUS 13 was a passionate project that Nomura wanted to make. He's still going to do this with Verum Rex. "Fantasy base on reality" so I hope Nomura does this.

and yeah. People don’t talk enough about Yen Sid in general tbh. People still think he’s lazy ONLY in KH.

and that will never ever happen. KH isn’t KH without Disney.

Disney has been and always will be an integral part of kingdom hearts as a whole.

he has more of a role in 2, but not really
