why would they want something with a heart, when they could just reuse the data they had to create repliku who had no heart in the beginning?

I just think from a narrative perspective it makes more sense for data Riku with all the talk about data

That whole early KH3 roxas sub plot was centred around getting his data so they could build a body for him

Surely if Xehanort stole that it would hit a lot harder

Honestly, it may make sense from a purely technical perspective but on an emotional one I can't buy into it at all

Not to mention data Riku isn't exactly a character with a lot going on for him

honestly I kinda like what remind did where we have a new data Sora, and we aren't explicitly told its the same data Sora from recoded, but we kinda make the assumption. And he was never that big of a character in the first place, so even if he isn't it's all right

I mean if anyone ever wrote a good data Riku/journal fanfic I am ALL here for that, but KH is a series that does not use things to their full potential in the first place so, it does pain me a little to say, but I wouldn't want the idea to happen in a KH game because it would just not be done justice and would make people hate it more

I think that Remind sora is just a means to an end. I doubt it will go anywhere

The FF characters were expanded GREATLY in KH2
