my JRPG plot has you fighting and absorbing the 7 deadly sins with a planned DLC to fight the 7 virtues

the reason why it'd be after is because in my mind

DLC doesn't have to be tied to the lore and can just be expansion

vs Post game which feels like it should still be tied in in some way

wheras fighting the 7 Virtues has no purpose besides doing it for fun for the player character

to achieve a sense of balance in the world having absorbed the 7 sins
