is an open world pokemon game, where gym battles or otherwise just trainer battles have a strategic hack and slash combat system

like sword and shield

except more in-depth

I want to be forced to buy a camping kit

camp on the side of the road in between battles

camp on the side of the road in between towns

maybe find some npcs to travel with, even just skyrim-style would be fine

I don't think you can make a action based Pokemon game and keep the same formula I mean you can but I feel like you lose something

hell if digimon did it before pokemon then I'd prefer digimon over pokemon

Personally I don't want the main line to ever stray from the turn-based they can do spin offs
