Well it’s hilarious! But they have their version of doctor who called “professor spacetime” and 2 of the main characters LOVE it.. and Chevy chase plays one of their friends but he’s old and dumb lol and they grabbed him for a focus group to make a American version of Professor Spacetime.. and he in no way was a fan of the show ? and he completely ruined it for the true fans...

So that is literally what happened for sonic... but in real life lol
