i dont think they wanted to do it in the first game, i think disney caught wind of how popular spiderman ps4 was and said to make him look more like tom holland spiderman

Sony went to Insomniac to make the game

They trusted them to do it

And Sony is very hands off with the developers

They just give them the stuff they need and they do whatever they want

Maybe it was Disney, but then again they could have just done it in the first game already

Y’know that new face can (supposedly) emote better all it wants, but I’ll never understand why on earth there’s any reason he should even look that young or how it makes any sense in the context of the game or anything, the decisions feels entirely influenced by factors far outside of what was best for this iteration of spidey to me

I mean, it's fair if people find him to look too young

It's an easy thing to fix, just add some wrinkles and you are more or less done

But I feel like thinking up conspiracies on why they changed it isn't gonna do anything when there isn't any proof or official talk about it.

What we do know is that they changed it so Peter can actually do some proper facial expressions

Cause let's be real, he barely could do it in the first game

Every other model didn't have this issue, just Peter

I mean the hair, skin complexion, stuff like that matters too, it ain’t just a handful of wrinkles that solves it

Those are still easy to fix too

I think it's just that higher end facial capture running on higher end hardware need to have similar face to look the best

I do agree on the new model looking younger

But the old one looked so much older than he should be

Which isn't a bad thing

It's just they went the complete opposite direction in the new one

from an unbiased standpoint since i didn't play the game, new one looks better for a peter parker

Apparently it's free this time, so at least they learned something from that mulan incident

What do you mean? The reason why the inital run is $30 is to make back some money since the movie wasn't aired in theaters due to the pandemic
