Id say less of problem to the ratings, and more to the budget of actually pulling it off.

Oddly enough, producers want gaming adaptations to appeal to all audiences, regardless of the age restriction of the game and the fact even kids play adult games

I guess the ratings have a bigger impact in cinema than video games, as the hour of the airing might be adapted by cinemas and television accordingly

yeah i said that because one of the maker talked about the difference between fake and real actors while explaining how they tried to avoid NC-17 rating
