Reddit got around Apple’s rules by blocking NSFW-tagged content and subs on their mobile app, making users opt-in to it using a browser before it would appear in the app. That seems to be kinda like what Tumblr is now doing with “content labels”

Twitter just tries to hide nsfw content, you can still access any of it if you know the @‘s

my pixel watch came in today!
PXL_20221103_191559689.PORTRAIT.jpg

Not what im used to but still so cool

Nice pic, looks almost like official marketing material (in a good way)

guess what phone it was taken with :holyfiretruck:

im a walking promo

literally the only reason i wanted a new watch was bc i wanted to track my DDR sessions

my old watch was an LG Style from way back and it finally died on me recently

but it had no features lol

speaking of, do you have to pay month to month for your watch to be connected to your phone and 5G?

i didnt get the 5g version so no

but thats the case with any smart watch with 5g versions

and that you need to keep your phone with you if you want to make use of the watches for the texting and email

every watch with bluetooth only models need to stay within range of the phone of course

every watch with 5g models need to be added to your phone plan just like a new device

so that it can be used on its own

its been this way for years lol

its just like the tablets with 5g models

same deal

you pay for an extra line on your plan to give it use outside of home wifi

im guessing those that added to your phone plan will increase the the phone bill?

well of course lol

data-only lines are usually much cheaper than a line woth a new phone number tho

so much for leaving the phone in the locker while sporting a watch

its a convenience fee lol

i dont care to use mine without my phone around so i got the bluetooth model

i just want to use all the neat features the samsung watch (2022) offered like what i mentioned lol i also like digital clock that will say 2:00 instead of big hand and little hand lol

i mean you wanna use those features then pay for an extra line lol

i cant think of a single time that I'll ever be separated from my phone and not my watch so this is fine for me without the 5g model

i work as a dishwasher at a resturant so, yeah thats why i want a watch cause i cant keep checking my phone for time since i dont want it wet

You only get a customizable watch face with the 5G version?

no thats on software

every watch can change that lol

I’ve got an Apple Watch (non-cellular) because Apple is slowly taking possession of my soul, so I’ve got no clue what Google and Samsung are doing.
