I thought I was firetrucked because the interview ended after 40 minutes but turned out it was only 40 minutes because there was a guy waiting for his interview

40 minutes interviews are unusual. usually it's only 1 hour

Some interviewers here only have a half hour to interview.

Simple ones can be done in less than ten; although, those often are introductory interviews that are passed on for evaluation to see if one can be set up for follow-up interviews w/ people higher in administration/executive roles.
