Okay, lemme breakdown the history.. FFXIV had an original launch.. this was the 1.xx patch series. This was scrapped, and then rebanded as FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, that was 2.xx patch series @sadtofu

As of now, a new expansion is coming soon, that's on July 2nd
