Yeah ouch

Entry level but must have 2+ years of experience?

GTFOOH

Gotta be flexible enough for both, clearly

This is what we talked about on VC Saturday.

rule 13 when mods

It helps to have the right connections to get that foot in the door.

Get past the Catch 22

Hahaha

Yeah if you want to work in the film industry, having connections is a MUST

Mupsy, for example, had a nice professor that gave him an opportunity that lasted for a bit.

Some colleges also have partnerships w/ companies, so having that association really looks appealing for prospective workers.

i feel like its these companies/places also just want the perfect workers immmediatley

but how do you get the perfect workers if you can't even let anyone get the chance

That's what I'm saying

Even internships are hard to get into

In order to get that experience desired, they need the opportunity to flex and work in the field that lets them build it up.

This is in a scenario that a potential candidate has that already.

Even before then, many students are expected to be proactive and work on something professionally while attending to build rapport and gain experience. There is also the encouragement to add colleagues and peers to professional networking sites to build connections. W/ the ease of technology, a greater number of students have chances to pursue remote opportunities in the mean time if they aren't on site/campus but online instead and have dismal to no opportunities in the area, even relocation assistance if it gets to that point.

And this is why I am going to go live in a cave somewhere

Gotta be working before you actually start working

One issue I see w/ the option is that many jobs are temporary projects, so they don't offer steady and consistent income that will last.

Or you could have a secluded cabin in the woods, Novayon.
