that means that it couldn't been that Xehanort knew about the ark and ven because he learned it from Ansem as YX because Ansem was Apprenticenort who was aware of the ark and likely its inhabitants

so he took Ven out, who was the only one left

I'd guess that Marluxia was first, then Larxene, then Ven later on.
Maybe Player was super first tho, and became xehanort, because he was afflicted with Darkness.
and he kept Maleficent in the pod until kh2 because Darkness guided his actions into only taking out Ven

I doubt Player is even relevant in present time
