the 2 biggest problems i have with those evolvable medals are materials and availability. unless you pull a 7* copy of the medal, you have to use m+b to guilt them, then mirrors to max out their guilt. which seems fine, until you realize that you've got shit luck when it comes to guilting, and guilting campaigns will never be a thing again, and mirrors as rewards should honestly be more common than cids at this point (or as common, at least)

then there's the availability issue. you have to pull and hope* you get lucky and get one of the ones you need. on top of that, some of these medals are surprisingly rare. i've had just 2 6* copies of hd xion for more than a year now and just got a 3rd (along with the base 7* i have). and the stained glass medals can never come as 7, so you're forced to use m+b and mirrors on them

and for what?? just some album completion at this point, honestly. maybe some niche help in proud mode, but otherwise they're just trophies to your dedication. (aside from the new ones, anyway)

y'all forgot that trait medals add yellow dots?! if you got five 6* kh2 sorikus you can evolve a lit SN++ t10 for 3k jewels in traits (and a bit of grinding magic mirrors).

for 3k jewels (and again grinding mirrors) you can evolve 5 Kexs into t10s for 5 m&bs

can't speak for anyone else, but i forgot nothing. i'm talking about evolvable medals as a whole. there aren't any trait medals currently available for things like illustrated sora a or sp axel

Or KH2 iSora&Riku where you need five other (7 *) copies of them to upgrade one to SN (and SN+) on T9 before getting the option to give them Mastery.
