I was a young lad born in a town you've never heard of, from a State in the US you've probably never been to, and, I owned the House of Mouse Halloween Special on VHS. There was a 34 second ad for Kingdom Hearts on there. Took 34 seconds to convince me to step into a world a haven't left in 20 years. Played every game on original consoles/handhelds, been to the concerts, the Dandelion gathering, E3, shit I even contributed to TV Tropes pages for the franchise.

I've seen it grow from a seemingly small series Disney or Square never seemed to give a second glance at, to it being seen at D23, to Disney putting out merchandise for it, to Sora being inducted into smash bros and being able to have shaken hands with Mickey Mouse and Goddamn Mario Mario.

this climbed very fast when kh2 released. the VA sora got for spanish dub also voices ash in all of pokemon anime
enough to make it extra popular

also (most) disney characters with their original VAs from the movies
at least those that were recorded on madrid

it is but kh never had latin american translation or dub

so far SE only added those for final fantasy starting with 15

and SOPFFO released with only spain spanish so i guess they decide to include it or not
