How about just don’t rely on Donald in the first place. He’ll help if it’s convenient but you’re almost always better off healing yourself.

Yeah with kh1, I've learned to always heal myself since it's way more reliable than waiting on him

I did a playthrough of the trilogy not too long ago and Donald almost always had my back.

If he’s alive and has the MP he’ll do it, but don’t count on it

And what no one talks about is on Critical KH2 they don't give Donald Once More or Second Chance like they do in Proud modem
