I think OG Ventus’s memories were lost once he was sent to the future, but only “resurfaced” because the Ven-Van fusion from BBS was the closest thing to OG Ventus that’ll ever happen.

I feel like a dog would be too much responsibility for Ventus. Probably better off with a cat.
