If you could make one change to kh2 what would it be ?
Adding dodge roll from the beginning.
And giving limit form the ability air dash instead.

dodge roll from the start is easily the main thing, or giving Quick Run a few more i-frames

and lowkey increase sora's base running speed by a bit

Basically, movement stuff.

Restrict the timing window for reaction commands to make them more skill based

Also add penalties for pressing triangle too early or too late

Let the player gauge the risk and make using the reaction command a more deliberate choice rather than a mechanic the player always seeks out because there’s literally no downside

To be fair it's not like they're on the screen for 10-20 seconds, some go away fairly quick and are context sensitive

True. It depends which one.

Like the Axel fight, for instance.

Those commands disappear really fast.

My point is, if you know they’re coming, you can button mash and it still counts as a valid input

Well... that's not on the game though then that's just players learning the game

But that makes it si the only skill involved with reaction command is simply being aware of them, which most players will be because the game dedicates an entire tutorial to them

Well, it's kinda like, if I'm ambushed in DARK SOULS and I know the ambush is coming, that doesn't mean they should make ambushes harder, right? Or if Limen gets an all Rainbow Excelent Triple S Rank C-C-Combo Chain they don't need to update/change the songs, that's just the player learning the song.

How do you unlock these ?
Playing im critical mode or defeating all data battles or defeating lingering will ?

The number one world I want to come back is Neverland. I feel like it could really shine and be super fun to explore in the new engine. Especially if flight is involved at some point.

Some have only a chance of 10%.

Nope.

Some of them can be found in the overworld somewhere (such as Break Time), but many of them have to be left to chance.

no but what you can do is save your game before you meld it and if you don't get the command that you want, close out the game without saving and open it again to try again until you get the one that you want
