but the first KH game I finished was BBS

I adored recom's music and setting though

traverse town's music was unIike anything I'd ever heard

That's fair honestly. Recom did have some awesome music.

I really loved the Twighlight Town theme in that game

Actually we should fault them for that- by playing the games out of order we encourage casual minded gaming, and discourage following the evolution of the games in story tone and mechanics.
