After taking a long break I started redoing the Data Organization battles in my KH2 playthrough. I battled Lexeaus, Vexen, Xaldin, Saix, and Roxas and died on all of them. I did get better at the Xaldin fight, even got him to use his annoying desperation move. And the Saix fight seems doable you just gotta be really fast on getting his Claymore this time around. So I could see myself possibly being able to defeat those two in the future, baby steps.

Still can't even touch Lingering Will. I can't believe there are players that have beaten that thing lol.

Good luck! Which game difficulty are you playing on? I really like the data battles in KH2FM. Not too easy, but not too hard either. Roxas is pretty easy actually, you just have to remember his different moves. Hint: guard ability is your best friend in this fight.

That’s the brilliance of the Lingering Will.

He seems unbeatable at first. You keep get bodied with every match. But then you start noticing patterns. You start actually getting a few bars down. The more you go at it, the possibility of beating him keeps getting closer and closer.

It took me what felt like 80 times or more.

I’m probably stupid, because I’ve been trying to beat him for like 5 years...

I know his patterns, I’m just not fast enough to react sometimes.

I think Lingering Will is in my top 3 of best bosses in gaming. Practicing him, getting rekt the whole time for 200-400 tries and then finally killing him was one of the most satisfying moments I've ever had

I'm playing on Proud Mode and am at level 85. I've been playing KH2 for years but this was my first time playing the Final Mix version so I thought I was more then ready for it. Lol, how wrong I was. With Data Roxas I actually managed to steal his keyblades twice but he keeps on the assault with light beams it barely made a difference. I'm going to keep practicing with the data org and Lingering Will until ReMind comes out. Might also play some BBS on the side too.

Remember that Strike Raid has mad invincibility, and you can always grind to make it easier.
