And Kingdom Hearts’s original characters were designed by Square Enix but owned by Disney. So are the Kingdom Hearts’s original characters American or Japanese Characters?

God I forgot how much I genuinely dislike kh1

After mainly playing kh2, kh1 is just bad in comparison

It has good storytelling in spades, but that doesn't make up for the lack of good control

I've done more wandering around trying to find out what I'm supposed to do then actually playing the game

Fair. More direction could have been useful in places like traverse or deep jungle. I prefer 1's level design though. I rather be lost in an explorable area with little secrets that make the world feel alive than just walking through corridors waiting for the next cutscene or event to happen. I think in terms of combat and movement it feels weird till you get things like high jump and glide.

I just can't get any enjoyment at all out of playing this. I just wanna finish this and move on to kh2

First game syndrome.

Plain and simple.

However, as someone who has played KH1 just as much if not more than KH2, Perhaps I can give some tips that might help.

Abilities like Slide Dash can help land hits keeping Sora moving.

Also when Sora’s attacking in mid air he moves forward slightly, which can help make up of the sluggish normal Jump when dealing with the more platformer sections of the KH worlds before monstro.

On a side note, the air combat is faster than ground combat.

Certain Magic’s like fire can be rapid fired when button prompts to a shortcut.

And Speaking of Magic

Blizzard is like a Scatter Shot. I find it mostly affective on flying enemies if you jump then use Blizzard.

Blizzard is also your most mp efficient AoE magic in one. Thunder hits harder, but Blizzard costs one yellow bar of MP just like fire does, so you can spam it way more.

Also, magic damage in KH1 is based on your maximum MP.

I can deal with people saying they hate kh1 but I don't think you can ever say its bad

Also, if you land in the middle of a magic cast that can't be spammed like fire. you can do a short hop and cast again faster, or something.

Kind of a little quirk with the animations.

cancels some of it so you can do little hops and cast thunder/blizzard/gravity faster.

That said

Gravity and thunder eventually become op

Blizzard is still better than thunder insofar as MP efficiency and Gravity is only better on high HP enemies.

Thunder is better for more damage AoE faster than Blizzard, basically.

Yes but late game gravity is op for that reason.

Since high hp enemies are then placed in every world

gravity's hp damage is insanely useful for level 1

you basically kill every one of those invisibles with it and stop

ughh I want to get kh1 finished but the game is so frustrating

I'm getting zero enjoyment out of it

No need to force yourself if it's that bad
