Well does anyone else want this? No roxas, xion, namane,aqua,terra, and ansem the wise. The reason is that don't have any importance I'm the next saga. Like literally nothing. They had their fill of the xehanort saga. Maybe a cameo in the sage or spoken reference, but putting them in the Master of Masters saga would be pointless. With the characters that's gonna have a big role luxord, larxene, marluxia, sora, riku, the foretellers, demyx, yozara, and skuld. They have a bigger role because M.O.M. goals dwarfs master xehanort. Other than that, the past saga characters that were important should not be important in the saga.

plus forcing them into the next saga for fanservice shouldn't happen.  That's all, and tell me how you feel.

Ventus is an union leader so he is supposed to be relevant on the next saga. That being said, Aqua and Terra have a possibility of returning with a good role as well, since they're a estabilished trio.

Axel and Isa are supposed to look out for Skuld, and Xion and Roxas are part of the group so...they're supposed to come along and have some kind of role as well. 

Namine just came back and Sora didn't thank her yet so she'll most likely have a role too (principally since Nomura pointed out towards it on the ultimania). I mean, she needs some spotlight now that she's free of Kairi's body. 

Radiant Garden's habitants may have the same role as Yen Sid on KH3: they can offer advices, being supportive, etc, so I believe that they may return. Principally since Ansem will now need some kind of spotlight too since he finally came back as Radiant Garden's ruler after all those years.

Now, in regard to my opinion, I understand your viewpoint but I would hate it if they were taken out of the next saga. They roles got complete at the end but they can have a continuation, a new start...basically new objectives, and I'd love to see them together fighting again. Basically because to me they're part of Kingdom Hearts and not just The Dark Seeker Saga.

We shouldn't call it fanservice if we can acknowledge that they're vital to the game's own essence too. Something tells me it won't be Kingdom Hearts if they simply ignore all those protagonists (Ventus trio and Lea squad). 

Anyway, that's my opinion. As a loyal fan I'll stick up with the series no matter what decision Nomura takes, so let's see how it turns out.

I actually understand what your saying too fully. I don't know how to say this without being mean or anything, but it's just gonna be hard plot wise for them to be part of the master of masters saga. Basically they have no connection to M.O.M. saga. Well I may agree on on the apart of seeing how their doing, story wise it's hard to imagine their connected to saga. Sorry about this. I don't know how to say it correctly, but it's the best respectfulresponse I can think of.

 

I wouldn't mind them coming back later but not right away they need time to recuperate. For instance I like the idea that Terra and perhaps Ventus have to undergo training again and perhaps take The Mark of Mastery under Master Aqua. To me that would be a neat side story to see sometime. I can see Roxas, Lea and Xion being more involved with the next saga since Lea will probably want to continue his long overdue search for Subject X and of course Roxas and Xion will help him. As for Ansem the Wise and his apprentices I could see them sticking around and helping out.

Vocaloidlover13 basically covered it all. TAV, RAX, and Namine are part of the Kingdom Hearts universe now. Why revive Roxas, Xion, and Namine if they are never going to be used again? I don't expect them to have big roles in numbered titles, but the side stories? Why not? And considering all the fan complaints about Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Cid, and Cloud being benched it'll be worse for these guys who actually contributed to the real story. If anything these guys could fill the FF cameo spot and be Sora's support team going forward, with the occasional teamup battles like in Hollow Bastion. Ienzo's group was seen helping Sora and the good guys throughout KH3 from the sidelines. So I don't see why TAV, RAX, and Namine can't do the same.

I don’t really mind if they show up or not. I think it would make sense because I feel like the unions could be important in the future of the series. But I would agree that plot points shouldn’t revolve around them (minus characters with specific ties already ie. Ven, Marluxia, etc.) I don’t mind either way. 

I could actually see Donald and Goofy being gone (at least for a bit) and have some new companions in the next couple games. (Maybe Sora can’t be reached by the old party where ever he is in the ending, but meets new companions there.) I think that could be interesting.
