Better than her knowing how to use a lightsaber despite not having that much practice with it

In short, I appreciate what JJ seems to be doing except for OT pandering, but following up the Last Jedi will be a very though task.

So I'm curious to see where all this goes.

Because good or bad, it will at least certainly be interesting.

I already saw TFA and TLJ, so I might as well finish off the trilogy

Yeah.

But what makes it interesting for me is that I am not watching this movie out of a sense of obligation

I am actually interested in seeing where the story will go next

But more from an outsider's perspective of, like, seeing a doctor doing a complex medical operation on a patient trying to salvage them from a grave injury

So, kinda of like how I am interested in KH4, in a way

More of an outsider looking at the state of things and how they progress instead of being genuinely hyped for the continuation of the story.

Also the first reply to that tweet is "Strange, people actually wanted to see Avengers" laughsinnomura

Man I give up on humanity

People are that completely okay with just giving disney money at this point.

Simply because its a movie to go see, people are gonna go see it

People just wanna see how it ends bruh dafuq2

The hurt of the poor quality of the movies' storytelling will be seen in the spin-offs' box office...

...spin-offs which have been turned into series instead.

It seems Disney has a plan, I think.

Let's not make this into another "firetruck that big corporation" thread. Thanks.

Yeah, we should focus more on the movie itself, I agree.

T'is going to be fun regardless of what happens, that I'm certain of.

So its looking more like that Rise of Skywalker is gonna be 2 Hours and 35 Minutes as reports keep coming in.

There they are! Dominic Monaghan & Billie Lourd can be seen in the background.

Well it is the longest star wars film ever, so I can't complain.

not a single showing not in 3D wtf

why they force me to wear 2 pairs of glasses everytime

no

i don't care about 3d i watch all movie in 2d

but first week is full 3d

Sounds like you may have to compromise there

Be glad you have the option of 3d . My theater doesnt have that option.

i'm just gonna wait and watch it in my bed

Smart

So everyone is aware some leaked images of the Rise of Skywalker are going around, dread carefully.

i love leakers when it come to possible bad movies
