Most of Riku's Limit Cut lines were delivered flat tbh

are they trying to hide maybe some background noise from his recording maybe

But during the LoD part Terra and Riku had good vocal quality

his mike might have been picking up something weird in the file he sent

so they might've had to reduce the audio in an attempt to mask it

I honestly believe some of the lines weren't recorded in house.

i bet they werent

because some dont sound like the quality of original KH3 at all

re:mind probably had a very limited recording session time slot and needed people to do it for themselves

what is up with mickey voice direction in base kh3

why was he told to talk like that?

A majority of the lines were really well written too so it's unfortunate the audio quality was busted

I mean thats gotta be the only reason

The current actor isn't 100% on par and I think today's mic quality probably amplified it

its the voice director who must've screwed with the way he was delivery

because in all his previous iterations he sounds fine

like even if hes a little off, he has always been like a pretty not too bad mickey

but in KH3 he just sound like he was told to phone it in

I guess. But the way he sounds in KH3 was pretty similar in range to 3D imo.

imo he sounded a whole lot better in re mind than in base khiii

you can definitley hear it in kh3, its like a little weird

he did sound better in Re:mind

@Superslash that's what I'm saying. I think today's tech has really shown it, but it's not awful and KH3 Mickey voice is pretty good for the most part. Some of his lines are definitely wacky though.
