pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 now i understand why no one ever use headphones in dock modehttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/722504664024875029/784809722460897300/test.mp3thats horrible
Sam N 10 Posted December 5, 2020 I just don't like it because you have to use a cable. Really, why can't the Switch have bluetooth headphone support?
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 well, there are bluetooth adapters but thats it
Sam N 10 Posted December 5, 2020 Even those aren't a perfect solution because they take up the USB-C port. I mean, Joy-Cons already communicate via bluetooth so the technology is there. A simple update is all it would take.
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 actually, i meant adapters in the headphone jack
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 i think there are some
Sam N 10 Posted December 5, 2020 Oh yeah there are those too
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 but yea, USB adapters are more commonat least in spain
Sam N 10 Posted December 5, 2020 I wonder if there's like a wireless aux adapter that would eliminate the need to have the cable in the way...
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 thats basically bluetooth adapter
Sam N 10 Posted December 5, 2020 eh I guess. Maybe I'll invest in one of those.
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 i dont need those anyway i have enough with these wired headphones and a male-male cable
Limen 10 Posted December 5, 2020 you definitely got a defective wire or a loose connection somewhere loli almost exclusively use headphones when i play dockedplugged into my monitor
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 or maybe this male-male cable does not support correctly the console audio when its docked
Limen 10 Posted December 5, 2020 possiblyi have also plugged in headphones to the switch itself and played handheld just fine tooso it's on your end somewhere
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 its the cable i guess the console when docked uses some kind of different audio codec, which is not suppored by this cable at all
Limen 10 Posted December 5, 2020 could just be an old cable tooI've had many cables start dying on me and sounding like that lol
pablo5425 7 Posted December 5, 2020 same song recorded with the same cable in portable modehttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/722504664024875029/784848635388493824/bugs.mp3the cable it is old, so i guess its something about incompatibilityi tried my headphones with the console docked and they work flawlessly
hawk222_1550644792 16 Posted December 5, 2020 i've found that i have an easier time with the songs in space paranoids/the grid/system sector because they're very consistent throughout. makes it easy to keep a beat for the whole song
Limen 10 Posted December 5, 2020 most of what i said still applies in that case, the 1 1 123 pattern is much easier to handle using more than 1 button and since in 1 button mode it registers every button as any other button, you can use any buttons you want to do it lolbut for the case of doubles you wont need to worry about emessentially making the 2nd and 3rd waves identical
MD 1 Posted December 5, 2020 I've been trying the d-pad method it's quite good or at least it's more consistent I haven't been able to get it down completely thoughI think it's just im devolving into mashing at some point instead of following the rhythm because of panic lol
Sam N 10 Posted December 5, 2020 My only issue with the cable is it gets in the way. I have to constantly be shoving it under the system or around my hand to actually be able to play.
Lil' Tini 4 Posted December 6, 2020 Yeah idk why the dock didn't come with bluetooth capabilityWould have been worth an extra 50 dollars to meOr you know, they could put a fkn aux port on the pro controllerBut noooóoo
