MoM would probably garner more respect if it wasn't reusing KH1 assets

MoM only appeals to a niche audience. It'd be foolish to invest a big budget into it.

It would at least make more sense than trying to turn Persona info an action RPG

the only problem i see with this is you can't play with the bad guys because there is no fodder enemies on the light side

but im sure nomura could come up with something

I think a game like this would be a great excuse to try out light based enemies
