An easy way to have

Kairi fight Xehanort|| could just be to have her do the boss but then ||Xehanort is just like "meh, easy" then they carry on with the rest of the scene. She doesnt need to win, just be able to hold off on her own and actually land a few hits

 

I could try and wrap my head around Kairi becoming her Sora

So why didn't other KH characters transform into each other if that's the reasoning?

WHAT?! This sore loser dropped their connection as soon as I beat him!

As a result, I only got one collectible, no ratings points, no proficard swap and no chance for a rematch. Lame

AND I got a warning saying they'll cut me off from online battles for a bit if it happens too often!

It might be my connection, actually. The same thing happened: I got a connection dropped message as soon as the song was finished, but I definitely lost that one but it treated me like I won

And again, this time in the middle of the song. At least I'm able to feed info on how it works to the good people of this server. Looks like you can DC in the middle of a song too, not just once it's ended.

We're all in agreement that first person Kairi & Apprentice Xehanort was the story highlight, right?

Yeah I really loved that part where Xehanort spouted some complete and utter cryptic nonsense to 5 year old for like 3 minutes, yea yea yea ?

it just filled the hole we had between KAiri in RG and KAiri in DI, nothing more

xehanort could see she was special, he put her in a pod to find a new keyblade, she ends up in DI with memory loss because of pod

only question left from this is "your task will be far from easy", which is brought up again later in final world

The Xehanort side of things confuses me more than the advent of quadratum itself tbh

Like sure it can just be an evil figment of her imagination that is saying oh blah blah I can locate your heart and what not but from a writing perspective what on earth is the point of even having him say anything like that?
