i can keep timing better with that finger, its better for doubles and i have the thumb free to use it with right stick if needed in memory dives or bosses

and i can tell it works

also leaves your thumb free for jumps and abilities

i know a lot of people struggle with jumps right before/right after hitting an enemy bc they use the face button for attack

but if you use shoulders your thumb is basically always resting and ready for the jump

@pablo5425 btw, how is the dpad treating you for those swipe notes? working out better than your drifting stick?

I know Nomura said it wouldn't happen, but this just really makes me want updates/dlc for this game.

It's not uncommon for rhythm games to get rhythm, but since MoM has so much already it's extremely doubtful that we'd get it

curtain call got like 100 dlc songs didn't it? and that was after its initial 220ish list. not saying it'll actually happen considering Nomura's words, but there's definitely a possibility if they decide to

especially considering the datamine also reveals the slots go up to i think 205 songs with mention of dlc in the code. again not a certainty bc devs usually put things in their games like that for futureproofing

smash ultimate for example had like 35(?) open slots and they said they of course only have plans for these current 2 fighter passes
