No real request has ever been shown. I usually based it on the general popularity of a upcoming movie/game release within the KH community

MCU movies, particularly spoiler heavy ones went pretty high up there.

i think it's the best way to not have unintentional spoiler or whatever and not flood this one

The threads weren't working very well

Discord does a terrible job of letting people know they exist after they've been created

the threads only had like two to three people always, so no real need for it to begin with, discords concept for it is there, but the execution of letting people know is terrible.

at this rate just gonna wait and see until Saturday if the discussion of the film fills up and requires it
until then just gonna wait it out for a bit and see what happens

thats the problem, while people may know it exists, not many want to actually use it

The lack of actual discussion in them is probably more due to the nature of the news itself

Not all headlines are as interesting to discuss

to be fair not many actually want to discuss in them to begin with, most of those chats just go into the kingdom hearts chatrooms anyway so :spideyshrug:

I think they're fine, most stuff that are reported on aren't very disscussion worthy and stuff that is is already gonna be talked about in kh general or kingdom hearts 4
