The one thing I can give Microsoft points on for their current consoles is they're doing a better job on backwards compatibility (both physical and digital) for original Xbox and Xbox 360 than Sony and Nintendo are for their consoles (and even then, in Microsoft's case, it's spotty at best because it doesn't cover every game from Xbox OG and 360).

Then again, tbf, as far as backwards compatibility goes, it can't be helped in regards of licensing for certain games.
