And that's Sonic Frontiers completed. The story is better than Forces but that's an extremely low bar. I'll admit they did a good job actually having Sonic [i]struggle[/i] for once (be honest he doesn't struggle. [/i]At all[/i]. Name one time outside Adventure 1 & 2. Exactly) but it's still eventually overcome. So then... does it matter? Did he really struggle? You'll have to answer that for yourself I guess. Sage is... fine. I guess. I would personally say though that her character development... is all over the place, not consistent and then seemingly rushed at the end of the game. I, personally anyway, wouldn't call that 'good' character development. It's fine... but it's just all over the place and then rushed at the end. Kudos for making me believe she was going to rebel and break free from Eggman but that didn't end up happening? I guess? You have to give Sega some slack and let some things slide for their first 'open world' like Sonic game. Sorry you just do. Though, bad comparison or not, I would compare it more to Legends Arceus than Zelda BOTW/TOTK. I thought it was... fine. More fun than I was expecting honestly. That pop-in though... yeah it's [b]REALLY[/b] bad. Worst I've seen in quite a long time. The camera was [/b]EXTREMELY[/b] bad. At least in the open-world area. It would stupidly zoom in unnecessarily to the point where I [/i]literally couldn't see[/i] and it would cause me to fall off, get hit, or other stupid BS. Including during the boss fights the most important part. It's like they didn't learn from Sonic 06 or something. Yikes. The highest point... is obviously the music. [/b]POSSIBLY AND PROBABLY THE BEST SONIC GAME FRANCHISE SOUNDTRACK I'VE HEARD IN YEARS[/b]. One problem though. The DLC. It [/i][/i]RUINED[/b] my experience. Why? Because of it's ridiculous ass, unnecessary, overly asinine difficulty. There's no excuse for this BS I'm sorry. For me personally... it felt like a half-assed rush job that was more of a beta test. (1/2)
