Read some thinkpiece where there was an offhand comment about making a switch 2 lite that shrinks the console, reduces the battery life, and cuts out the docking feature. Why do they always seem to go that route when it comes to "lite" versions of Nintendo products? The 3ds? Let's cut the 3d and the folding feature to make a 2ds! Let's remove the features that make a switch a switch and call it a switch lite! Honestly, isn't there a better way to do these things that doesn't involve eliminating the quirkiness that they're known for?

i think some people just want to play the games, so a less expensive console with no gimmicks is a good deal

Mechanically is it on par or better than Returnal?

The gameplay is the same but there are small differences and tweaks done to make it stand

I am still on the first biome though so might get more different as it goes on but the shield does change things quiet a bit and I need to get used to using it

story is unfortunately very short but after base DT I take a shorter story over a long one where I have to constantly talk with 3 villagers over and over

Its only part 1 so yeah I expect that
