even cloud has a 100% working follow AI out of battle
and that is never seen. the few times when he is not being controlled is all scripted moves

l can't imagine it taking too much dev time to give every character a chest opening animation

literally, the only thing they had to do was binding dpad to allow character switch out of battle. thats it

I wouldn't be surprised if modders make that a possibility

it's funnier since the d-pad has zero use out of battIe and menu

i can bind keys to cheat engine
it requires open and close camp menu to refresh current player but its something
