Seems kind of counter productive

It's one of the faults to the system, the enemies will constantly attack the character you play as

But it's designed like that on purpose because the characters you don't control just do very basic attacks and very slow too

So if the enemies went after the characters you don't control then they wouldn't be able to do much

It's something I hope they can improve upon in Rebirth

Do they do reduced damage too? Some games have it set like that so they can't just carry you but idr if Remake was like that.

No, they just attack very slowly which ends up with the ATB bar progressing slow too

I didn't notice any reduced damage so that might be a thing, been a while since I played the game

I did one play through, realized I needed to do 3 unique ones for that dress bullshit then said maybe later lol

As a consequence I haven't played Intergrade yet.

I recommend playing it just for the Yuffie gameplay and new battle mechanic

I intend to for sure, especially with the CC Remake on the horizon

Alternatively while you tank you can still give orders separately to teamates you aren't controlling but yeah it's still could have been implemented better

I mean both Code Vein and God Eater take place practically in the same universe and world. Just in Code Vein's case it takes place a in secluded part of the world
