i mean they never said kh3 would show up at D23 and they showed off only 2-3 scenes for con goers behind closed doors especially show off concept art of SaC as a surprise without announcing they'd be there at D23

Well there's a key difference for KH3 case though, for KH3 they were working on it for a long time and had liberties to show it off more, where areas for KH4 there is nothing more to show off yet than what's presented, the reason why probably Nomura and Famitsu said their won't be any news of it for awhile
