it's 1080p/60fps, i think ray tracing is in both setting

honestly there should be a 1080, 2k, and 4k mode

4k is just not needed

In the interview it's mentioned that it's 60fps with lower resolution but they haven't set what resolution yet

So it might be 1440 or 1080

I see no reason games can’t do 1440 60

most tv are either 1080 or 4k

1440 is mostly pc monitor i believe

i bet it will go by display

I mean like if you have a 4k tv then it can surely display a lesser resolution can it not?

I think @-Kye- plays on a 1440p monitor with 4K downscaled from the PS4 Pro, that’s what I’m probably going to do as well. I just hope the monitor I’ll get will support 4K downscaling (some don’t apparently).

That has nothing to do with only caring about tv’s it should just be part of the downscaled option for tvs that are compatible with having 1440

well if sony can get the DLSS tech working it wont be a problem

youll have 1080p image turned into 4k and cant tell the difference

sony this gen seems to be about performance then res this gen really giving options for what mode you want to play in
