The question is less "will they be there" and more "how many will there be"

What defines an open world game? Is it just "big open area with lots of places to check out"? If that's the case, something like ocarina of time would be an open world game

Among others, yeah

yes firetruck them

these puzzles are so goddamn awful in handheld mode

I think old zelda games lack the freedom to be classified as open world, it's big and all connected but you still have to follow a specific order to "open" more of the map

> Eric Wallace tells EW that his appearance in the May 24 episode, "A New World, Part Four," will be as his original season 1 villain.
> "This is Barry Allen's final race, so you can't tell that story without including his most infamous adversary: The Reverse-Flash," Wallace told EW prior to the writers' strike. "And having brilliantly played the character since season 1, bringing Tom back as our show concludes its run was always part of the plan. Tom's exciting portrayal of Eobard Thawne has been unforgettable for nine years, and fans will be delighted to know that he's brought that same wonderful intensity to our finale, too."

If you want to get it late...

Target has become less reliable w/ getting games delivered on release day and on pre-order bonuses.

One is the week of Kye's bday

lol that would be awesome

Supposing that's the metric, wouldn't certain open world games be classified incorrectly if they block off things like rooms or areas via keys and such?
For example, would the new pokemon games still be open world despite the inability to access area zero until the end of the game?

is it tied to story ?

can you do gyms in any order ? i think that's what would make a pokemon game openworld

but i guess, if you can atleast travel all around the map with just the usual closed tunnel or house from the very beginning then it already is openworld kinda, and gym order is simply the story

it's like the roguelike/lite debate, there isn't a real definition of any genre anyway

dannggggg

Is Street Fighter 6 a good game to get into Fighting games or are there better alternatives?

my only experience so far is Smash and the Tenkaichi/Budokai games but some people say that they don't play like modern traditional style fighting games

yeah DBZ games can best be described as anime fighters, as in, no anime fighter pIays Iike any other fighter even sIightIy

I'd recommend Tekken though, probabIy 5 or 7

SF6 is a great start

tekken is the only different fighter for its 3D

oh right that's a good point

games like budokai are like fan arena games
