Makes no sense to lock a demo behind a pre-order paywall.

The point of a demo is to try the game to see if you want to buy it. But if you pre-order it, you technically already bought it.

With PAX Online starting, you can try out demos of new games on Steam (and maybe other store), seems to be mostly indies
