I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

well there was an in-game counter and the guy had an enticing closed chest next to him, still not much explanation tho

i think my first playthrough as a kid i either got the wrong item and left, or got the right one but didn't know what to do with it afterward 😅

every npc talking in botched double translation text wasn't helping either

You mean for another game?

I guess it's good to know they had a visible counter.

yeah the guy talk in his sleep, tells you "you fought x times" "you fled x times" randomly, and he calls you off when you inspect the chest

i think the ffxii "dont open these random chests with 0 indication" is more bullshit

it's not exactly the same, but this whole thing is reminding me of the vesperia (xbox 360) achievement that says you have to travel x miles in game... but with no way of knowing how close you are to that point. never did get that one. people online said to get a rubber band or something and just leave the game one while you go do something else, but i never got to that point

Then there are those games w/ the imposter chests that attack.

reminds me of when i left a rubber band on BBS with exp walker

Or stuffing a folded piece of paper underneath the joystick

.....hey
question time
um

if the Switch 2 is meant to pIay current-gen games then
are they stiII gonna be using cartridges

even if you compress the heII out of these games, you can stiII expect at Ieast 16GB for a ton of games

oh if they do compress these things compIeteIy
say goodbye to texture and voice quaIity
and effects quaIity in most cases

because I guarentee you this thing wiII reIy primariIy on DLSS upscaIing for it's optimization

Oh that's easy DaZ

They're gonna try really, really hard 🙂

Because they'd rather be quirky and different than modernize.

DS was so successful they needed their consoles to be it too, smh.

And fall flat on their face in the process

Ugh. Don’t remind me. It’s a trend that’s been present ever since the GameCube: ambition at the cost of practicality.

"Hmm.. what if our disc's were really tiny, and our controller had a big green button right next to a tiny red one!"

Or for Luigi’s Mansion:
“Hey guys, let’s make a game that’s really poorly designed and try to justify it with originality

your MOM is great

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

guys the gamecube controIIer is IiteraIIy the best controIIer ever made I Iove it's garbage anaIog sticks and Iack of a second anaIogue trigger for no reason

Oh yeah totally. I’ve never had more fun than I had chasing the same firetrucking Boo across the entire mansion, while whittling away at its obnoxiously high HP. What a blast.
